HELP

Being part of the community.

I believe that being part of an industry comes with the responsibility of contribution and getting involved. Our purpose is to help build relationships between people and dogs and in so doing create a better quality of life for both.

dog rescue australia

Since our beginning in 2003 we have been fortunate enough to be able to contribute and be involved in the industry that we are passionate about. There are a number of ways we are able to offer support, through donations to dog rescue charities, assisting at community events, sponsorship of industry bodies and emergency relief assistance.

dog rescueDog re-homing and rescue

Over the years we have contributed funds and products to industry organisations that rescue and provide homes for abandoned dogs. We have been regular supporters of SAFE (saving Animals From Euthanasia) for many years supporting their cause and views on the welfare of animals.

We are helping to solve the problems with a dual approach, the products and services we offer help to reduce the number of dogs being abandoned due to behavioural issues; these are quite often easily solved. Also, the contributions we make help in finding new homes for those dogs that do end up needing homes.

Why should any animal be euthanased simply because it does not have a home? Read more..

Sponsorship within the industry

Sponsorship has seen us become involved with many wonderful and dedicated people who demonstrate their commitment to the dog world every day. We have made a lot of friends through our involvement with these groups.

Community events

We’re often able to assist and get involved in community events, demonstrating our products to offer people more options for help with their dogs. Country shows, local shire events and industry rallies.

2009 Victorian bushfire Pets Appeal – Black Saturday bush fires

I made a phone call to see how we could help..

The relief centre in Yea ended up with hundreds of people who fled the fires and had only just managed to grab their pets and leave their homes not knowing if their homes would survive the fires of Black Saturday.

The relief centre had a lack of equipment and resources available to care for all the animals while people sorted themselves out. Pet food had been making its way in however collars, leads, bowls and cages were in short supply. By approaching a few of our suppliers and sending out a call for help to our contacts, purchased products and gathered donations to make a difference to the people who needed it.

We gathered 140 Kilo’s of equipment to help. 60 Kilo’s of equipment was sent by overnight freight. We then flew over with another 80 kilo’s and helped distribute it throughout the relief areas. Read more..
