How does Remote Training Dog Collars work?
Remote Dog Training Collars are designed to allow a dog to be off its lead while the owner still has the ability to communicate to the dog over a distance. The dog wears a collar with a receiver unit attached. The owner has a transmitter that will send a radio signal to the receiver which then reacts. These products are designed as a training tool to assist in training your dog.
Remote trainers can give a sonic noise, a
citronella spray or a
static pulse to get the dog's attention for training purposes. The
Citronella and
Static Collars usually come with a form of beeper or vibration system that can be used as a passive indicator to the dog.
It is common for the remote trainers to have the ability to increase the level of stimulation through an adjustment method on the handheld transmitter.
